Cafe Mondiale is an instrumental duo based in Cambridge, UK, featuring Hugh Boyde on mandolin and Bert Santilly on accordion. The duo was formed in 1999 and has played a huge range of concerts and events since then, always delighting audiences with the sparkle and romance of the mandolin and accordion sound. The repertoire is a mixture of French, Italian and South American cafe and dance music, all blended together by this unusual and refreshing combination of instruments. The musicians are equally at home playing in a concert setting or as background. Cafe Mondiale have recorded 2 CDs which are available for sale (see link below).
